Jeffrey Standen is Of Counsel to the firm. He is a professor of law whose teaching focuses on litigation-related subjects, including Evidence, Remedies, Conflicts, Procedure, and related subjects. His scholarly interests are remedies, procedure, gaming law, and sports law. Standen has authored many academic articles and books and has been a featured speaker at numerous scholarly symposia and legal education panels. He has received university awards for excellence in teaching and in scholarship. Former Associate attorney, Hunton Andrews Kurth (then Hunton & Williams). Litigation practice focused on complex multi-state RICO and securities suits, products liability, and general business litigation. Former Deputy General Counsel of U.S. Sentencing Commission and former clerk to a federal judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
